The automatic voice recording function means that, every time you run the timer, not only is the unit recording data, but it is also recording everything the cox is saying.
These audio files can then be downloaded, as shown in this video.
Having easy access to these recordings gives coaches a much clearer understanding of what is actually happening in the boat, as well as allowing them to coach their coxes off the water.
