Strap Clips (For Beach Sprints) Set of 3

In Beach Sprints it is critical that athletes get into their boats and set off as quickly as possible. To help with this some teams have been folding the straps of our shoes down, as well as setting the shoes to two sizes larger than the athlete’s shoe size.

The straps do not naturally stay down though so we have come up with a way of doing this that has been tested by a UK National squad and found to be effective.

The solution is to use stainless steel money clips, with the fold slightly opened up, and you can either buy these from us or from a retailer.

The clips are fitted as per the photos (the straps do crease but they recover almost completely, and in any case the creasing does not affect their strength):
